General Information

Thybar Multi-Zone Retro-MateTM  is a custom fabricated roof curb designed to adapt to existing multi-zone duct work. Duct work for the existing rooftop units can be left in place with all of the transition work done within the Multi-Zone Retro-MateTM .

Multi-Zone Retro-MateTM  converts a single zone constant or variable volume rooftop unit into a multi-zone.

Multi-Zone Retro-MateTM  maintain roofing integrity and eliminate costly support steel reconstruction.

  • Heavy gauge Prime G-90 galvanized steel 18 to 14 gauge meeting ASTM A653/653M
  • Fully welded and mitered corners
  • 1 1/2” thick 3 lbs. density rigid insulation
  • 2" counter flashing
  • Adapters are internally supported.
  • Outside access to the dampers
  • Zone dampers
  • Bypass damper

 

Specifications

Pre-fabricated Multi-Zone Retro-Mate  to be manufactured of prime galvanized steel construction, 18 or 14 gauge as required, meeting ASTM A653/653M with welded corners and seams, insulated with 1 1/2" - 3 lb. density insulation, internally reinforced, and include necessary transitions to allow the use of the existing multizone duct work. Includes zone and bypass dampers with removable outside access. These adapters shall be a Multi-Zone Retro-Mate as manufactured by Thybar Corporation.
