ASSEMBLER

Job Title: Assembler

Department: Production

Reports To: Branch Manager

FLSA Status: Non-exempt

Travel: None


SUMMARY

Responsible for various types of curb, product assembly and final assembly operations to manufacture product to drawings, and specifications.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned

  • Read and interpret project plans, blueprints and other written instructions and diagrams to perform task at hand.
  • Ensure Thybar quality standards are met or exceeded.
  • Assembly equipment maintenance.
  • Continuous process improvement
  • Safety and housekeeping.


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.


EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Preferred:
  • Assembly or manufacturing experience
LANGUAGE SKILLS

Effectively communicate and understand job instructions both verbally and written in the English language.


MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to perform basic mathematical computations. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.


REASONING ABILITY

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.


OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Ability to multi-task. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong time management and organizational skills. Ability to work under dynamic schedule constraints and consistently meet deliverable timelines.
